Here's a 1999 resource on the number of reagent shops and number of vendors per town. I haven't had a chance to check this out but I don't think we have 12 in Occllo like this source suggests do we?

**Remember, in a pinch, any provisioner's shop will carry a small number of bottles and a few reagents (usually garlic and ginseng), and sometimes healers have some garlic and ginseng on hand.

The moonglow one seems bizarre. I never recall 30+ reg vendors in Moonglow. The rest seems plausible

I may be mistaken but there is around 4 locations that are actual mage shops in Moonglow. If you add in the provisioners and the rest of the junk npc's that sells a few reagents that could hit 30 vendors that sells reagents easily.

On the source page just click on the name of the city. It shows you how many and where. It's pretty niffty.

(Yes, it's 2009 and I used the word niffty but hey, it works!)

Didn't the number of vendors vary slightly by shard?

Yes, but I actually think it would make a lot of sense to make it exactly what it was on this shard, given that the data is so detailed and perfect.

Agreed.

Glow always had many reagents shops.. its the magic capital. There is a alchy shop and mage shop in the main town. Then there is the encyclopedia magicka. There is also a building on the southeastern most part of the island.. and another building on the eastern side of the island. All of these building contained reg vendors.
