Drive by Snoops While on Horseback

Snooping on the move while on a mount is giving me trouble. The victims pack only remains open if I stay withing a couple steps of them. Move just a little too far and it closes. The distance seems to be farther while I am on foot however. Any thoughts?

This is probably just a relative feeling because of your speed on/off horse. The distance in which the pack closes is standard on foot and mounted. This is why stealth is to important for stealing, you can stealth to set last target and then come back mounted to steal and run.
