UO Second Age

I engaged in a debate/conversation with Hemporer as well as a few others, and my comment to get me banned was "Look hemporer is gettin gang banged in irc..then derrick gets on.. next thing i know im banned from irc... i get online ingame....and this happends...

You all were talking shit to me for a good 20 minutes:

that's what really happened and that is asking for it. I'm doing time for saying that in game, although it was a genuine joke in response to what you were banned for.

EDIT: I Find it absolutely hilarious that you call it a debate. It was your whole guild repeatedly bashing, surprised it took that long for the bans.

not sure what happened was not there but i find it hard to think that staff would ban you from irc cause of someone donated .. i have donated and have not been told of any special treatment or reward .. and in fact web pages states the same ..

let me quote some of the reasons he was banned and then cries on the forums acting all innocent:

that's not even half of it. According to IRC rules, each one of those individually is worth a ban.

THE POINT IS....i can say whatever i want to anyone on irc...and tell whoever i want that someone else just got online....doesnt mean its ban worthy...then the dipshit goes and says some dumb shit to get his ass into trouble ..insuating..(sp?) that he doesnt get banned because he donates...or.....he donates and gets others kicked....EITHER WAY U TRY TO SPELL IT OUT HEMP...YOUR THE JACKASS BROTHA! and thats 100% era accurate

We will not tolerate personal attacks, incitement, and a host of other things in the IRC in the main IRC channel, and will enforce them, as we notice them.

We are not paid IRC administrators and do not intend to read every line of IRC to fully grasp the situation. If you were banned for reason, then You were banned for reason.

You are responsible for only your own behavior in IRC. We will treat those in IRC as adults, and do not intend to babysit this channel.

The in-game comment was libelous towards the shard, and although generally laughable to those who are more familiar with the administration of this shard (and the ban history of the subject), it is one of the few things "in-game" that we do take action on speech-wise.

just read this now, I find it entirely laughable that you and your entire guild bash me on a daily basis for my suggestions on accuracy.

Majority of the shard contributes, if Derrick had to do all the research himself we wouldn't be half as far as we are today. Try and be more progressive with your comments, for a father you seem pretty one track minded.

I hardly think anyone could say Hemperor is in cahutes with Derrick or any staff member for that matter...

He has been banned multiple times in the past but has been well behaved since the last one that was perma including his accounts unlike the previous bans.

this thread makes me think that i've been wrong .. i know i've said things .. (i know to derrick) in joke on forums that if were not a joke i would hope i would have been ban for .. i guess thats the problem when you have such cool staff .. you can say alot in joke to them .. but others may feel offended ??

I think Hemperor holds the record for most irc bans and in-game 'timeouts.'

i don't know hemp .. nor do i claim to have even meet him .. i don't think we would get along to well .. however this does not mean he doesn't do alot of research for shard .. i don't like what he researches alot nor the points he searches alot .. but doesn't mean its not era acc. just means i have to search harder for my points of view...

To sum up the thread. Hemp is just spouting nonsense and there is no basis to what he said. Just like if I told everyone I was actually Richard Garriot...it would be made up and false.
