I'm not sure how much I should ask for this Fortified +25 Quarter Staff of Vanquishing. any suggestions? please don't ignore me, I'm a legitimate merchant

I'm sure there's a buyer for it, somewhere.

But if there was ever a "transform weapon" spell, that would be the perfect item to morph.

is the qstaff not a good weapon in this era? I thought it was desirable because of its speed and damage, but maybe I'm remembering UO:R PvP days


I fished up another weapon I'd much rather transform, but for now my cook is wielding it

yea, the quality of treasure and sunken chest loot appears to be completely randomized. I've pulled vanqs with tacts from lvl 1 tchests and MIBs

The problem with bows and q staves is that they are not repairable so that is am immediate discount compared to other weapons of the same magic and tactics caliber.

So what did it sell for? Maybe your price will stop others from doing PC's on these or be a base for other (non +25) vanq qstaffs.

I'd have posted the price, but it's getting bundled with a house. since the house price wasn't agreed upon before including the weapon, I can't say what specific amount it would've added.

Agreed the last time I found a vanq hally it was in a lvl 1 chest from an mib.
Also pulled a vanq short spear last night from a lvl 2 chest I picked in a dungeon.

Got a +25 vanq bardiche from a Lv1 chests. That would support your claim.

Quarterstaves ARE good mace weapons in this era. The problem is they can't be repaired (at least I don't THINK they can). So once it's worn out, it's done.

Its limited use compromises its value.

MAYBE IF PEOPL POST DOWN WAHT SHIT HAS BEEN SOLD FOR THEN PEOPL CAN HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT ITS WORTH SO IT FURTHER BENEFITS EVERYONE IN THE LONG RUN

I sold mine for 25k, since it cant be repaired. yes qstaffs are godlike as it is but may break someday :/
