UO Second Age

Wasn't there a small guard zone outside the cave that leads to T2A? I recall this bugger quite fuzzily, back quite possibly pre-t2a but I think it was around until atleast the tramel/felluca split(which sucked...)... back when I was introduced to the wonders of UO by a friend.

That said. This is from noticeably fuzzy memories.

I do recall I cave entance northwestern area of minoc, that led into T2A I think it came out very nothern area above the city of dead, fuzzy is a good word for it but I do not believe the area was guard zoned.

Definately never guarded from start to mid UO:R. That was my t2a entrance of choice.

okay so in papua if you open the razor map in general "UO positioning system, it does show that area in a green box. so it may be guarded now or just a point of interest in a green box. Im still rather new to this razor program.

I remember this being guarded as well, and actually made a mental note of not getting the "you are under the protection of the guards" comment here the couple times I've used this route.

Matron clearly remembers it not being guarded, curious if it varied from server to server but I know this was guarded on Atlantic

Can someone post a screen of that entrance? We are not talking about the 'vagina' are we?

Only entrances I remember being gaurded was really glow, and Marble for the most part. The Fire entrance GZ dropped right before you got to the entrance, as I recall. The Minoc entrance came out way east of C.o.D aswell.

only thinkg i remember about entering and exiting t2a was

1) some message about being freely attackable.
2) you cannot bring exotic pets back and forth.

No this was definately guarded, I was wondering this a few weeks ago when I ran passed the entrance.

Here is the old Stratics page for the T2A entrances. The North Minoc Mines was a guard zone. I see the Jungle Island entrance is supposed to guarded on both sides as well, I remember that. Marble island is guarded too.

Just because it was a guard zone didn't mean a red couldn't run through it. It was guarded but actually guards didn't patrol the area unless called.
