Patch 88 - Feb 21, 2009: House Decay, Protection Stacking
Re: Patch 88 - Feb 21, 2009: House Decay, Protection Stacking
to be on the safe side i dont see the harm in it. its only one month. in a way its like extending the old system for 1 month longer.

What i really don't want to do is extend decays on the houses that are still on the old 30 day decay, ones that would fall regardless of this change.
I can see doing a refresh on the houses that have been refreshed since the change. We've got another week and a half before this would be done so if anyone has strong objection, please voice it.

thats not really a big deal. i guess there are two options.
1 some players will lose their house due to unforseen circumstances
2 some players will have to wait 2 weeks longer to nab that idoc!
personnaly i dont see the point in playing for idocs...and its not a big deal if someone misses out on such a thing. yet with what it takes, and what goes into a house there is a lot more riding on that.

14 days after a house has had the change accepted by a friend/co owner, autorefresh once.
Houses which have not had the change accepted, leave as they are to decay.
That way everyone wins, and it blots out any bastards.

What exactly is the point of changing the house decay timers?
Merchant and pirate were for a long period one and the same person. Even today mercantile morality is really nothing but a refinement of piratical morality.
