Hi all, I just wanted to verify some things I read about the Poisoning skill:
1- The chance to apply poison with a poisoned weapon is Poisoning skill / 4 (crafter's skill). So if a GM Poisoner applies poison to a weapon, the weapon will poison the victim 25% of the time. If a Poisoner with 60.0 skill applies the same poison to a weapon, it poisons the victim 15% of the time.
2- The level of the poison does not change this apply chance. Lesser poison applied by a GM Poisoner has the same 25% chance as Deadly poison applied by a GM Poisoner.
3- Each poison has a fixed amount of charges (18/16/14/12) and poisoning skill doesn't change this.
4- You expend a poison charge when you poison an opponent (you don't expend a charge when you miss, or when you hit but fail to poison the opponent).
Are any of these statements wrong?
Thanks!
Poisoning Success Chance?
Re: Poisoning Success Chance?
The last statement is incorrect. You expend a poison charge every time that you hit an opponent, regardless of whether they are poisoned or not from a previous hit. Beyond that, everything else is correct.
