Housing status 8/24/09

As of 8/24/09 after surveying the land i can definitely say that Dagger (ice isle) has absolutely no room for a castle or keep. That's right. Can't use the old "Sell me your castle/keep cheap...there's plenty of room on ice to place" tactic anymore.

The biggest spot placeable on ice isle is now just the size of a Tower.

I'll be surveying more land soon. I have been all over and am pretty sure there are no castle spots left at all. Sorry guys and gals you may have to just pay that extra few hundred thousand for a placed one :(

Good for topic starter on this one...

As a geographer, I'm fond of the practical uses of surveying land (if it's done correctly that is)

I think surveying the world to know the amount of available land for housing is a worthy cause and the players who do it need a pat on the back for their work.

Nah just a few items when we made a slight security mistake :]

I do think most of the shard still has a rune inside the new castle but its not like anyone goes in there i log on to refresh it and log out those barrels havent been moved in a very long time
