Do exceptional weapons and GM weapons do the same damage?
Same question for AC bonuses on armor.
Thanks.
Exceptional = GM?
Re: Exceptional = GM?
Exceptional weapons have a damage and durability bonus. Exceptional armor and clothing has a 20% AR bonusqtip wrote:Do exceptional weapons and GM weapons do the same damage?

Re: Exceptional = GM?
Anyone know the stats for the weapons?
Example:
Halbard does X amount of damage. Exceptional Halbard does X amount of damage plus 1-3 Damage?

Yeah my bowcrafter has 50 fletching and sometimes makes exceptional bows.
Will these do the bow do the same damage as one crafted by someone with GM Fletching?

Under the guides section of the website Derrick has saved the stratics information about weapon damage and their associated dice rolls. On that page, it is noted that exceptional quality weapons give an added +4 damage. That damage results in an increase of anywhere between 1-3 damage overall, depending on the base damage that you get with your weapon. The finer points of how the 1-3 damage increase comes about can be seen in the same guide under the combat page. Plug in a few numbers and test to see how the exceptional bonus affects things.Guyjeb wrote:Anyone know the stats for the weapons?

Here is the guide that Derrick posted: http://forum.uosecondage.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=443
Oh, and, yes. Any exceptional quality weapon yeilds the same damage bonus. You simply have a greater chance to create exceptional weaponry and armor at GM skill, and you have your marker's mark.
