Lockpicking in player houses...

Post by spamalot »

Can you or can you not pick "locked down" items? Getting conflicting information online. Is lockpicking only for dungeons?

You can lockpick any container that is locked. A "locked down" container or item cannot be lockpicked, only a co-own/owner of the house can remove them. However, you can freely open any locked down (not secured) container without being a friend of the house, and if that container is locked as well, you may lockpick it.

Thats a lil confusing.

You can lockpick any chest in the game not secure.

Locked down ain't related it's a house mechanic. A locked down box can be locked tho.

Locked down doesn't stop you from openin it you just can't pick the box up.
