There currently is No buyout option, however, I will consider a buyout if som1 pm's an offer i cannot refuse.

Rammar had highest bid after 2 days. Gauntlet never posted this "so-called" bid from Mens Rea. Says he sold it to Mens Rea at 12:43am, 2 minutes later Mens Rea has it for sale at 1.2 million?

the deal is that you guys decided to pull a thinly veiled stunt because you did not like the price you've got on the item.

it's not a big deal by any means, but a scam auction is still a scam auction. next time simply set a reserve.

I promised Stonewilled (after i posted the auction) i would give him a week to get funds for it. Shortly after this, Rammar im'd me and said he won the auction, i offered him a buyout option since i was going to give Stonewilled a week to raise the cash. He withdrew his bid.

I am new to this shard and Mens Rea has been a friend to me. He has helped develop my characters and teach me the game.

How is it a scam to sell this to a friend?

The only person who i owe an apology to is Stonewilled.

If Rammar wasn't such a cheap bastard he could have waited a week, or even discussed a buy out.

so the bottom line is: you admitt that you lied in op and ran the auction under false pretenses. and now you get aggressive and call the people nerds that are stating the obvious.

well, given you are new and stuff, maybe mens should have teached you how to behave on the forum and properly conduct an auction. should be common sense, but it's not really common anymore, i guess.

what does it matter to me? well, i have done many successful deals for many millions on the trade forum and plan to do many more in the future. but i am well aware that the next time you might be pulling this scam on me instead of rammar. therefore i have some interest that such shady auctions simply do not happen. and i'd guess highly respected posters with outstanding trading histories like telamon & hicha feel similiar about this. you are new, so we pointed it out. but instead of reflecting the stuff we posted, you just answered some unreasonable and aggressive bla bla, imo.

and on the no involvment part: yep, i did not participate in this auction. actually, i was seriously contemplating to bid on the table, but i found the first thread by mens already pretty strange... so i went with my gut and decided to pass on this one. you proved me right on this.

as for the trolling: please look up the definition on wikipedia before you accuse people about it.

btw. and don't waste your time to write a response. i have put you on ignore and won't post in this thread anymore anyway.
