From 50.0 what do you make lightning or recall? One peraon said stick to the two reg spells another says recalls which is a 3 reg spell tell 60.

Recall can sell to players on a vendor or in town. Lightning will give you a better return if you sell to npc's

I've not done inscription since UO:R...but logically, I would say your choice is this:

1. Lightning: Cheaper cost to raise inscription but less resale value.
2. Recall: More expensive up front but has the potential to sell the scrolls and make your cash back.

I would go with recall, selling to npc's is annoying and takes a while. However, you can easily sell a bulk order of recall scrolls right here on the forums and they will probably sell in no time.

I did this:

50 to 53.5 Poison
53.6 to 67.8 Lightning
67.9 to 82.1 Reveal, ebolt
82.1 to 100 Flamestrike, Resurrection

Think I sold everything to vendor, didn't care too much for profit. Kept the flamestrike scrolls for raising resist.

I did recall from 50 because they are useful for new players/people with dexers with a lil magery and sell well on player run vendors for 30-45 per recall, so if you make 1000 or so someone will be sure to buy them all at a decent price.
