Playerbase Question

Post by Captain Awesome »

Thinking about trying this shard out, the time and ruleset is perfect for me, but one of my requirements is the ability to actually find other people. Other shards that i won't name by name, bill themselves as the largest and most populous, but 90% of the clients online at any given time are afk in non-pvp zones. Got tired of seeing NO ONE out and about, so I'd like to get a feel for how that goes here.

Thanks in advance.

You didn't actually ask a question in your post but in short, yes. You will find people all over, even fishing I bump into the occasional pirate in the middle of nowhere. Since there are players here from all over the world, you should easily find over 300 people when you log on, no matter what time. Have at it.

If you are looking for pvp, you'll definitely find it during the nights and weekends at the brit gy. Reds definitely make the circuit in the dungeons at all hours.

Been playing here for a few months now - even doing the odd job like lumberjacking or mining in remote places I end up running into someone. 25% of the time they simply want to ennoy you.. but they're there. Even when I'm on at 2am CST.

Im pretty sure that any group of unmounted dexers will be pretty weak to five hally mages, which by the way happens to be all that anyone feels comfortable fighting urk with.

Eh, that entirely depends on whether we have a mojoka on to dispel their EV's. Since obviously, 5 unmounted non-magic orcs are gonna die vs 5 ev's. Lol
