It's the only castle on the island that fronts directly onto the mountain, so you'll enjoy a permanent front yard with no ugly smalls or towers popping up and blocking your steps. It's a great location with no proximity to other huge housing.
This castle is new, but the land has previously had a castle 3 tiles away from where it has now been placed. It's fair to say a large chunk of the courtyard is new. I haven't given out any runes or used the castle at all.
It's right next to a valorite vein and a screen or two from a mining cave, so if you want a nice castle you can mine from then this is for you.
