UOSA - Main characters.. e.g. chum...

Hi guys,

I have been playing UOSA for about a month now and loving it (although would love to find an active guild, please pm me!).

However, a lot of names get thrown around and most people are familiar with them, for me they are just legends, I have no idea who they are! Thinking of people like chumbucket and telamon... I mean, I have spoken to chum before, but no idea why he is so notorious

I think there should be a minor history of the UOSA shard written up, including a lot of the 'main characters' just for new players who see these names all of the time, but have no idea who they are!!


Does anyone care to enlighten the newbie masses and write a little...? I would certainly be interested

This sounds like a great idea. It can be appended to the Wiki. If anyone wanted to write something up, I am sure several of us would be happy to proof it.

I definitely agree that it's a great idea. I don't think one person could write it. We definitely would need collaboration. I can remember a lot of the 'early days' here as I was super active from Feb/March of 2008, till the end of 2009. From the end of 2009 till early 2012, I barely paid much attention to any in-game extras such as who was schooling who, what different people were doing to make UOSA better (or worse).

I could give my input from the days when the shard was peak 35-40 users, up until the time when my activity started to trickle off
