Can newbied items be created

I had a question about the items that come with a new char.

Ignot, gears, clock parts, tinker tool, etc.

If these were all used to make something would the item created be newbified?

The answer is most likely no, but I thought I would still ask.

unfortunately, no. i already tried making newbied keys with newbie ingots and newbie tinker tools.
