I've been trying to understand something...
I remember back in the day making Light Archer suits...
Plate Helm
Plate Gorget
Chain Shirt
Chain Leggings
Ring Arms
Ring Gloves
AR Total of 24 =1 Dex Displayed.... Now what set me off was the fact that here you equip Ring Arms on top of a Chain Shirt and you actually drop in AR. This got me to thinking about what the old suits AR levels were... So I did some digging....

Seems to me that alot of our AR values are inflated.
Edited to correct URL Info
Era Accurate AR Accuracy.

You need to fix your cited source. It is not displaying correctly.
Make it open in a separate tab or window then point to the real url.

..... and no commentary... is this one of those "Shhhhh we don't mind that it's broke" issues? I know Derrick reads all this and I'm sure has noted it and will respond in due time... but no Player feedback? Come one folks, throw the dog a bone here.
Re: Era Accurate AR Accuracy.
I remember a lite archer being 28AR
Re: Era Accurate AR Accuracy.
light archer was closed helm, not plate helm.
Re: Era Accurate AR Accuracy.
When comparing to this table, store-bought armor should be used, player made armor, especially Exceptional may have higher resultant AR than what is show in this table.
Have you noticed specific pieces that seem off?

I'm still trying to find a source that has accurate data from that era, I will continue to dig. I do know that the Archer suit used a combo of Chain Shirt and Ring arms yet here it results in lowering your AR instead of increasing it.... I guess thats one place to start from.
I'll let you know if/when I find some of the old armour tables from that era that include quality ratings.
