I definitely remember being logged out for inactivity. I don't remember what the timeout was, though. I think it may have been the same as the timeout for when you logged in an unsafe location.

This would pretty much happen if your character didn't do some sort of action such as moving, talk, drag/drop, double clicking, use a skill, etc... I think the time was roughly around the same as a non-insta logged character or possibly around 5 minutes.

Yeah, having a ghost planted somewhere would require the running of a macro and thus system resources to keep them logged in. .. I like it.

just that when i play somtimes i have to leave my comp real quick and cant come back, but i knwo in my mind my char will be sitting there unlogged our for 4 or 5 hours! with luck you may survive randomly in the forest for a few minutes, but not indeffinately.

I remember having my guy juts use the skill hiding while I was going afk to avoid from being logged for this reason.

Doesn't mean I'm right; but I just do not remember this.

I remember it, but honestly it might be a better idea to leave this alone for eye wash for new players or people looking at the shard. It would bring the online IP counts down most likely.

bad change.

it was 30 mins on osi and thats because the servers got full if people hogged the playtime.

on uosa it isnt needed it doesnt effect the server in any negitive way it will only hurt the shard id rather see 600 online when i log in than 450 tbh

Agreed, if new players stop in and see a higher player count, it can make the shard more alluring, in that it appears to have a larger player base. I feel like, lately the avg. amount of people on has grown. I've been her about a month now, and when I first came on it seemed like an avg. of 430 users. Now it appears to be floating around the 480 mark. Maybe it's just me, I don't have the data to prove it, and I've only been here a short time. But auto logging characters might lower this average.

Just another angle.

yea basically you as a ghost can macro eval or something and not be placed in warmode, so you can ghost spawns.

As people in houses macroing counts can play a macro with the char saying anything like "lol", pause 1min.

Basically.. there is no real point to this and would be a waste of time placing it in when there are bigger issues at hand. Things like this annoy me, adding shit that has no effect when the time could of been used for somthing useful.
