The way dispel field cast on a gate is supposed to work is that the side of the gate where the dispel was cast vanishes making it impossible for anyone to go through. The other side of the gate remains active allowing people to go through, but once through they have no return.

Also, unless it has changed, UOAutomap used to have a selectable option that would show all the "Rare" spawns locations.

UOR publish includes the "healing through poison" feature that is being discussed here. The healing through poison feature being discussed here that people are talking about is not being able to heal through poison... The UOR publish ended the ability to be able to heal through poison... ...

There are documented patch notes from the very first day of Ulitma Online to this very current day. The features you are speaking of are UOR mechanics.
