UO Second Age

yeah, i'm not too sympathetic myself. i created my first account here yesterday after not playing t2a uo for yeaaars. as of right now i have a character with 90ish fighting skills, gm music/90 provoke. i am currently working on a character who has 99 tactics and 91 swords... almost 70 magery/resist...

I've been training a hybrid macer character in dungeons for the past week or so. I was PKed in Covetous, and attacked once in Wrong. I saw nobody on the first level of Shame, albeit I only spent a little time there (earth elementals really aren't the best, strangely). I've been field PKed once, but...

Get recall. Recall quicker. You are a real smart guy huh? I'll do that just hook me up with a spell book and enough gold to buy the regs to train up my magery and then we will see yah? But that doesn't change the fact that the population is so skewed that its more or less a waste of effort to train...

Right because what I said was, give me tram. If I wanted that I'd go get that. I liked this era but I dont ever recall having the population balance around 50:1 ratio of reds vs blues. And having 90%+ people AFK macroing isn't exactly capturing the essence imho.

Not viable as a training fighter - not a mage like literally all other players sry. At least not until I can get any form of money aside from scratching out enough to at least keep a weapon.

The amount of player killers compared to the amount of people that are actually playing and aren't just macroing on this server is abysmal. Any graveyard to train up as a noob was overrun with PK's so after taking lumps. I decided to mine and craft so i could just hire paladins and fighters to skill...
