Re: The Gangs of Britain are recruiting! (East vs. West)
Only if it involved Minoc! Good idea but Britain was one of my least favorite towns. I like Minoc because besides the Smith shops, there isn't 2 banks,Inns, stables, carpenters. Its a simple mining town without a mage shop. Theres no point in fighting unless its for turf and with 2 banks and shop of e...

Re: Red Chest Plate
I once saw a player on Baja roughly around 1999 at the Deamon Temple on Fire Island named Anikin Skywalker. He was riding on a white horse which wasn't the usual white. A special hue. He had no special tags just a special mount. I inquired about it and it turns out he was some sort of GM player and ...

Re: Skill Gain on UOSA
Baja's macro box was in Bucs. It was easy to macro on OSI's servers. I macro'ed constantly and was never caught. Never even had a single warning and I played from '97 all the way up to '00. Typically only the people that would macro out in the open would be caught. OSI relied a lot on its playerbas...

Re: food
Please do implement food for health regeneration. I was about to post that I thought it was broken. it was something 1 hp regen per 5 seconds well fed which was a reason I gobbled up food when I got poisoned as a newbie. Also, in T2A people would claim that for smithing it would increase chances for...

Re: player vendors selling bogus or falsely stated items
Yup, buy from a reputable vendor! I know this is hard to distinguish when you are new. Always use the forums and ask in the trade forum about where to go and be aware of the posters reputation.

Re: Glacial Staff
I never liked "rares" especially ones that were over looked and then obtained by someone. Ive never played a game to hoard items. I don't believe these items would be allowed in T2A for the reasons that I had my ostard deleted for bringing it out of the Lost Lands because ppl without the e...

Re: Some minor inaccuracies.
I have no control over the world spawns its on a region spawner. Until Derrick can put the new spawning system in it won't be fixed :) The area in T2A used to have Efreets around the Fire Dungeon entrance - that leads to Serpents Hold. I ran through and saw none. Maybe I was just unlucky. If you ca...

Re: Strength: ArmsLore, Herd, Camp, Fish, did NOT raise str.
I have always thought that the best way to raise all 3 stats up is with camping. It takes a little game interaction which I just know people so hate these days..... Use a dagger and get kindling on every tree until your burderned then dble tap the kindling set last object hot key and mash button. Re...

Re: Just to explain a cpl of things
I do remember server boundries. It was said that certains skill that were less trained by the rest of the population would increase faster than other skills. Such as, a common skill like hiding was slow to gain while a skill such as taste identification would increase quickly promoting skill diversi...

Nice adventure you had there Evocah. I should have thought to chronicle mine. Perhaps I can be in your next one. Poor Tiki though.. lost in the Skeleton Ruins recently.

Re: Some minor inaccuracies.
Yes, Im just noticing a lot of good things still working. For instance using a dagger on wood instead of a dang fletching kit is nice. Forges used to be able to be on boats and guildstones. The area in T2A used to have Efreets around the Fire Dungeon entrance - that leads to Serpents Hold. I ran thr...

Some minor inaccuracies.
These are some minor tweaks for accuracy purposes. In T2A - (area around the entrance/exit to Vesper cemetary, there was a medium spawn here which consisted of Ettins/Reapers/Gargoryle/Gazers/Troll/harpies and lizard men (equivelent creatures)) I know this because this was a hunting ground for me. A...

Re: Favorite quote: ~~ from a tattered brown Second Age manual~~
I remember reading that before I owned the game * I borrowed the manuals from a friend after seeing UO at his house * You used to have the option to ress with a penalty also. Bad choice they gave you!
