Re: Concerns about the shard from a new player's perspective
I'm new here too and while I do agree there seems to be some inconsistencies, most of them are quality of life related. Id like to see bandaids easier to make lol. That's my main gripe and if that's it then this server is gold baby. As far as house spots: I found tons for small houses but none for l...

Re: Some new old school players
It's so cool to see ATL and siege players I used to play with a decade ago are here.

Re: Siege Perilous Ruleset?
I loved the role-play in 2nd age, some of the best I ever saw in a MMo. But when I think of all the fun and antics I've had in UO, when I think back to some of my fondest memories of killing and plundering and on the edge of my seat gaming, I think of siege perilous. Don't get me wrong this shard ru...

Re: Some new old school players
I personally would love to see more guilds like that. Back on Atlantic before my siege days my bro Richter Darkbane and myself ran with ELF and warred against UND and ORC. Those were some of my fondest memories of UO. I'd likely be interested in starting up some guild type like that; we could war ot...

Re: Some new old school players
Update!!! So Robbb was kind enough to supply a house for us and we have been so appreciative for that, thank you Robbb! I got my bard/Mage working now and should be making more a presence in the next couple days. We havent really looked at joining in guilds yet as I think once we start exploring mor...

Re: Will you leave UOSA if the hally mage is nerfed?
Well I remember mages only usin the hally as part of a combo, not as a damage staple. They would pre cast explosion, equip hally, run up and smack, let explosiongo then ebolt ebolt. This crap we have now where a 25 dx Mage swings their hally as fast as my 100 dex melee swings one is not accurate at ...

Re: Siege Perilous Ruleset?
I miss siege so much. It was the UO I loved so much. I was a red Saul and my brothers Judas and Sanford and I owned Blanche island. We played there for a while even after AoS hit. It was still good actually even with age of items. What killed siege was when they added trammel to it effectively destr...

Re: Event gate interferences.
Oh i decided I'll be sticking around. Gonna make a bard/Mage to get started off with some actual cash, who will slowly evolve to a full mage I imagine.
Even with the inconsistencies this is till the most amazing shard I've seen since UO:r.

Re: Event gate interferences.
Man thanks much for the help and your posts. I'm going to heavily consider just rerolling now. :) If you do, def plan your template. I highly suggest 50 healing to start due to slowness and bandage cost. Weapon skills, tactics, and anatomy can all be gained cheaply and relatively quickly. Yeh I fin...

Re: Event gate interferences.
Ugh you can bank there? Poor thieves. And yeh this server seems to cater to mages period. :( I was a dexxer in that age and didn't really have good chance of winning but could at least put up a fight with potions and poison. Ugh. Sigh. I was looking forward to a dexxer and preferred magery once I've...

Re: Some new old school players
Thanks it sounds fun to me. I'm good on supplies since I can sell crafted junk to vendors, not rich by any stretch certainly can't support a Mage yet but dexxers are easy.
I'll give it some consideration, thanks.

Re: Event gate interferences.
Well that doesn't sound terrible but it does come across as a double standard. During the 2nd age I was a heavy role-player and those events run by seers were constantly assaulted by pk's but that to me is was made it interesting. I don't see why an exception is made for these events if it isn't mad...
