mobs lost lands
mobs lost lands
I was wondering around with my bard a few days ago and decided to play around with the therathans a bit. To my suprise I could not find them around the temple. There used to be a lot of them just north of it. So I just wondered to the north a bit, and there were hardly mobs there too.
In my memory, these areas used to be way more crowded. Am I wrong here, or does anyone else remember this as well?

not to go off topic but I find the lost-lands to be a complete waste of time to hunt in, short of terathan keep..

During T2A Terrathon Warriors dropped alot of decent magic weps. It wasn't a bug per-say but they dropped alot of magic weps, nearly one per dead terra. This was on Sonoma at least
Re: mobs lost lands
GL server was the same. Would be armies of players and NOTO's for every player trying to get the warrior loot.Draegon wrote:During T2A Terrathon Warriors dropped alot of decent magic weps. Aye. I've heard this too. This is something that we intend to adjust into SADraegon wrote:During T2A Terrathon Warriors dropped alot of decent magic weps. It wasn't a bug per-say but they dropped alot of magic weps, nearly one per dead terra. This was on Sonoma at least

Re: mobs lost lands
I remember tht as well, Warriors always dropped a magic weapon and Avengers were an awsome source of power and vanqs.
Re: mobs lost lands
It was kinda an unbalanced drop rate though. I mean seriously people would be 20 deep on the pond outside the keep to get these weps.
Re: mobs lost lands
ya like 9 out of 10 warriors had a magic wep in their loot. Or lets say it was rare to open a warrior corpse and not see a magic wep on it. The weps Ranged all the way from very worst to the very best. (I got an exceedingly silver vanq katana off one on Greatlakes) avengers and mats gave alot more $$ but had the same magic drop rate that say a dragon had. So maybe 1 of 5 had a magic item on it.
If this loot change was to get corrected I think it is extremely important to get the spawn rates corrected prior to or at the same time loot changes are made. There is alot more spawn there then there should be.

On a shard with 1,000+ people, I disagree with you, but on this shard, it would certainly be understandable if the staff didn't make this the way it was until the player base increases. Magic weps and armor should have a rarity to them, or there will be little need for smiths and tailors.Draegon wrote:It was kinda an unbalanced drop rate though. smiths were crap back then as well, so they might as well be crap now days.Maleficia wrote:On a shard with 1,000+ people, I disagree with you, but on this shard, it would certainly be understandable if the staff didn't make this the way it was until the player base increases.
