the fruit basket in yew.. the one that is the "rare" spawns right next to it on the table, if its there you will see 2 of them, if not, you're too late.

Are dailys the only rares that spawn? I remember I had been playing on Napa Valley for several years and I found a broken chair in a dungeon. At one time I had one of the best rare collections on the shard until one of my close friends robbed me blindand made about 1200 bucks off of my stupidity. Sorrow....didn't mean to digress...stil a lil' bitter. I had a nice rare collection going on Metro before it shut down the first time. Most shards I guess had monthly rares and server start up rares, although the bulk of rares on Napa were items stole as decorations by thieves before the GMs lockd static items down...
