What is the difference between the light and dark indecipherable maps?

The color is the only difference, although I think the darker shade seems to be a bit more rare.

Indecipherable maps are created by cartographers from a failed cartography check, I made 3 while leveling my guy to GM. Funny they're worth so much, considering they're basically an effed up map.
