I would use the money to buy a guildstone and start a camping guild, something I've always longed to do.

My last guild got peeved when they found out I wasn't a chinese female like my character.

They are gay.

I own four houses by the telescope in moonglow, where we could center this camping guild.

A place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of PVP and PVM, where players can just chill out and RP camping, where the trees are lush and filled with kindling, there is game to hunt and sea to fish.

Telling stories around the campfire, cooking freshly killed game, and just generally enjoying the great outdoors.

Music in the air. The fires always lit.

Bedrolls at the ready to log out at a moments notice should PKs swoop in to slaughter our hippie asses.

The potential for such a guild is only limited by its own inherent limitations. We could organize camping expeditions to the furthest and most mysterious corners of Brittannia as well as hold mass firelightings and logouts at Brit Bank to protest obscure camping-related causes.

In conclusion, give me the $$$!
Can i make a character for your guild?

Give me the gold so I can host another essay contest like this with the 75K as the prize. I would also make sure that the person I gave it to promised to do the very same. And so on. And so on. FOR ALL OF ETERNITY!

Actually I have another idea, far more ambitious.

But it would require a LOT of gold from wealthy investors, and the support of a major guild or two for protection/labor during the project.

What I propose is the we construct two major bridges, one between Ice Island and Moonglow, and another connecting Occlo with Magnicia.

Occlo and Ice Island are cut off from the moongates and thereby foot travel, but they don't *need* to be.

With enough boats we could construct these two bridges:

We align parellel unlocked boats between the nearest points of land and place lines of locked/anchored boats on either side, thus creating our bridges. Each dash below represents a ship.

If I have some time later, I'll calculate how many tiles/ships we'd be dealing with for each project. For now, I'm roughly reckoning a SHITLOAD.

Before I move forward though, I need to know if anyone is *with* me. I'm curious in knowing if there are any wealthy community-minded investors willing to fund this, and some competent guilds willing to commit to protect us of from interference during construction?

Nay naysayer, it's entirely feasible!

All I need is a half million gold and some protection, and the whole project could be completed in a couple days.

Any investors? I'll name the bridge after you, as in "The Li Meiyang - (Your Name Here) Bridge".

What's the return on this investment?

Does it pay any dividends?

I'll fund the project if you can persuade Derrick to give me like a neon green boat decor.

Think about ... recession, we're creating jobs here...STIMULUS PLAN. F I should be given the UOSA Nobel Peace Prize. WE WILL CHANGE THIS SHARD.

So unless you can get round the clock protection for these boats from theft I'm uncertain as to why you're willing to invest in such an effort.
