Death shroud

Post by Mr.T »

If you donate a certain amount you get a death shroud blessed and of your color choice?

It won't help make your characters in game any better or have any type of advantage. It will also encourage people to donate.

1 death shroud per donation and you couldn't trade them to other people and they couldn't be stolen

no, it is no different when the shard owner says there are no donation rewards..

Aye. Believe me, we could use the donations. But they aren't "donations" when you get stuff for them (as the late great Nevermore put it), they are "purchases".

Shrouds can be misused, just like GM Robes could be. They misrepresent your status and hazard level. They do effect gameplay.

And on top of what Derrick says, although death shrouds have been in-game for a while, hooded shrouds of shadows (amongst a few others) are the only shrouds ever given to players and adding them would be a direct inaccuracy to T2A since they were originally gifts for Pre-Ordering the Age of Shadows Expansion (I know, since I did this myself 5 times to get 5 of them).

I concur. They shouldn't be added as gifts for donating. I'm glad they're not in. But, technically, you COULD get death shrouds due to era-bugs and exploits....you could also get purple sandals.
