I do not remember being revealed while looting corpses in. As a matter of fact, for a living I remember leading poison ele through the lich rooms and looted the players it killed while hidden?? Am I mistaken on this?
I also remember going back to my corps and seeing it being looted by 5 hidden players lol

Looting while hidden will result in becoming unhidden.
When you play with fire, there is a 50/50 chance something will go wrong, and nine times out of ten it does.

still doesnt sound right unless I am remembering before that patch. I did alot of monster leading to hunters in the day. What era of T2A is this shard sitting at?

Looting your own corpse results in never being revealed and vice versa for any other corpse that isn't your own. This was how it worked after the patch listed above and how it currently works on UOSA. This is typically referred to as a pre-t2a game mechanic.
