Re: Lockdowns !
I've been prepping a tower to go public, working on lots of decorating projects, and I ran out of lockdowns very, very quickly. If you're like me, going for a bigger place will just give you more floorspace you want to decorate and you'll still run out.
My solution, so far, when I want to build something like a fishtank or waterfall that has too many pieces of cloth to lock down, I block off access to that part of the room only. Single items like rares, tables and chairs, etc. then take up the rest of the lockdowns, but this way there's still public access to all levels of the tower.

That's a good idea. Candelabras are decorative and hinder passage too. Depending on what' you are protecting you might want to choose your barrier in relation.

If it's not a vendor shop I doubt it's going to get that much attention anyways save for your friends you hang out with.

Re: Lockdowns !
you should change the black parts to a reddish brown similar to the color of the benches, though

Yes Luthiel it would be the same for me bigger just means more deco and the same problem lol So I am just going to have to do like PrincessPeach said and adapt !Luthiel wrote:I've been prepping a tower to go public, working on lots of decorating projects, and I ran out of lockdowns very, very quickly. Re: Lockdowns !
Thanks for the advice! I am hoping to eventually dye the benches, but it would be nicer to have them a matching colour.you should change the black parts to a reddish brown similar to the color of the benches, though
Flower, I'm hoping to have the tower open to the public in about a week's time, once I finish up with all the floors and double check lockdowns. Hopefully add some vendors too.
And I don't think you could go wrong following princesspeach's advice - she knwos her stuff. =)
Re: Lockdowns !
