Suggestion for the forums..

Would it be possible to add a feature to ignore posts from certain users? Under their name, maybe next to the PM button, could a 'Add this person to your ignore list' or 'Ignore User' button be added? I understand some people troll and want to have this interaction with others (which is perfectly okay with me). When a thread about this or that becomes laden with personal insults and quickly turns into half trash talk and half on topic, I would like cut through all the bullshit and read comments that pertain to the topic/thread

I hear where you're coming from, many very worthwile threads are interlaced with worthlessness, or personal back and forth that would be more suited to a private converstation.

Currently there is no way to igonre posters via an ignore list though, sorry. We will try to clean up these threads as we can.

After some digging, we do have a way to sort of "ignore". When you go into a member's page, you will see "Add friend | Add foe". You can add them as a foe and their posts will no longer display. I wish this would just remove their post entirely but it appears to only blank it out.

Edit: I just added someone and all their posts now say "this post was made by <blahblahblah> who is currently on your ignore list" and gives you the option to display it. Pretty neat. Unfortunately, it still displays threads created by them :\
