PVP Balance
Am I wrong or mages are 1000X more stong then a warrior?
The paralyze spell is ridiculous, thats not possible that I stay more than 5 seconds frozen, if I dont have a traped bag I am dead...
Well dont know what more could be changed but staff must do something because the PVP is NOT balanced here.

Our goal is not to "balance" PvP or any other play style, it's to make the combat system the way it was during the T2A era. It's true that without trapped pouches a dexer is pretty boned on the field, but it's also accurate.CABALLERO wrote:Am I wrong or mages are 1000X more stong then a warrior?

try carrying multiple trapped pouchs, bandages, all potions, and try chasing them down with a better then GM weapon, you will make ends meat outta a mage.

This server is about accuracy, nothing more.
If you're going to PvP as a melee, "if i don't have a trapped bag" should not be an option. Always have trapped bags.

always carry 5 or more pouches, and always use a fast weapon. Stay on their asses. Also even thoguh your template is a warrior.. having atleast 60 magery for greaterhealing purposes will save your ass more times then you can think.
Or you can wait for no magic damage towns and be a townie
and leave the real pvp to mages and med warriors fighting in the newly constructed spawn era accurate Deceit

In a duel if you have a quick weapon a mage has to get pretty lucky to take you down. As long as you can disrupt his spells long enough to get a heal or two through you should be good.
And yeah, para is a pain.

always have these items if you're a dexxer and leave town (incase of pk or random gank)
5+ trapped pouches
~5 gheal pots
~5 gcure pots
~5 gstrength pots (i really like using these and then a gheal pot, if i see a mage prep'ing a dump, you know you have 20 extra points of health)
~10 grefresh pots
and a safe rune and recall scroll (if you dont have magery) for a quick get away
my 2 cents

Yeah, when raiding I chug a g str so I can start a heal early. I usually don't need an extra 20 hp, but having a heal come through 5 seconds after the first corp por is nice...

Yeah a bad mage, taking a warrior down isn't hard for someone that knows how to play a mage right. And how can you complain about para lasting more than 5 seconds? I don't know, the only times I've had issues with mages have been if they are able to get a REALLY nice combo off right away and they caught me off guard. Might not always be able to win the fight, but VERY rarely get taken down.
As far as the paras, the only part that is a pain is the extra hit or two you can't get off. I usually carry a few extras myself though.

This thread is lol friendly. How much trouble is a trapped pouch? Like 3 gold for the pouch and 9 or less gold to cast the first circle spell?
A 7x dexxer fighting a 7x mage both equipped with modest field equipment the dexxer has an advantage imo. I played during t2a on OSI and also on many free shards and this has always been the case. Probably why so many free shards sped up spell time as well.
