Total NOOB question, especially for a guy with 6+ years

How do you get the bubbles to appear hen you do all names so that you can click and drag a stat bar off of the bubble as opposed to the creature or person themselves? I have trouble targetting small, fst creatures with my bard and I know there is a way to reconcile this with the bubbled names.

Somethign else, isn't there a way to get inanimate objects like treasure chests to also have clickable bubbles so like say when you're doing treasure maps you can safely telekniesis a trap off even when the chesti s hidden behind a tree?
