I think it's pretty childish to say this to clown tbh. He was just putting in his two cents and trying to help, it's perfectly understandable not to give out his template. Some people don't go for the perfect 7x templates, some people spend a lot of time tweaking and sacrifice GMing certain skills to perfect their template to their playstyle. Especially for a medidexxer, this is probably one of the hardest and unique templates to maintain. Of course you could copy Voltron's template but doesn't mean you can roll with it like he can. In the end the best advice you can get from this thread is that it's not like any other template and it's going to take some time for you to find your own medidexxer version. People are usually not going to share their medidexxer templates because of how difficult it can be at times, hence why you have to ask in here. Show some respect before asking such a complicated question.

Mr. Josh, I'm sure Clown isn't losing any sleep over my sarcastic response to his post. It was sarcasm, and not meant to hurt his feelings. Afterall clowns shouldn't let things hurt their feelings cause then they're sad clowns and no one likes a sad clown.

As to your explanation regarding medidexxers, it's something that should be shared if one really thinks about it. T2a was probably one of the most boring times in PvP history. There was and is but one template that rises above them all, the tank mage. To argue that point is moot.

The mediwarrior or evalwarrior is a niche template and I think if someone was to post their template it wouldn't endanger their template at all for the reasons you, yourself cite, that it takes a certain playstyle to "roll" with a certain medi template and it's highly subjective based upon each individual's playstyle. If one template works for one person it may not work for another.

It is for this very reason that posting one's template is not going to compromise it's playstyle or have the whole shard running out to make one. It does, however, potentially reveal it's flaws as every med/eval dexxer has many, but this is minimal, considering that if someone goes against the same mediwarrior enough they will eventually expose the templates shortcomings.

Helping each other out with different templates should be encouraged as the tank mage battles on this shard are as they were in '97-'99, they are fun for awhile, then everyone knows how to play one, eventually it gets boring fighting the same thing over and over again.

I agree that a medidexxer needs wrestle. But thats just my opinion based off of my playstyle.

One can easily do well with med and eval, nice burst dps, but I prefer the wrestle. Here are two 3 gm builds you can look at and think about why I have them that way and how and why you would want them different.

Wrestle may not actually be a necessity as you're only going to be casting some heals, buffs, de-buffs and maybe a greater heal once and awhile. If magery was going to be used for damage then I would say wrestle was needed.

Haha alcon you have no room to talk, you are horrible at pvp period. The only time you go out and pvp is when you are rolling with all your boyfriends and roll in groups of 4+. You should leave this for the real pvpers who actually risk it.

In fact I've only seen you on the field twice. Once when you ran from me when it was me and chad versus a ton of RIP and you. Another when I killed you in your own house as you panicked and tried to ban lol.

no offense taken, i take sarcasm well. my reasons for not revealing my template are already stated above. the stats are mathmatically tailored to 1 specific weapon, and im pretty positive its a unique build on this server (atleast iv never seen any pvper remotely like my template).

having said that, med warriors in general can own tank mages if they are played properly. but they are pretty weak againsed pure dexxers. a med warrior will rely mostly on his weapon to deal consistant damage, and when your wearing no armor, standing toe to toe with an armored dexxer with more dex then you, it gets pretty rough.

if your wanting to experiment with different builds, i would recommend you log into test server to play around. its very useful for seeing how your custom template fairs againsed other pvp templates. i think i spent about a week on test server testing different skills and stats before i started actually building my med warrior on live.

Also, I believe you can wear leather armor to give you SOME armor, but it will reduce how fast you regain med.... however I don't think it will reduce it as much as lets say chain would...

Edit: Also, another handy little trick is get your hands on a few nice plate chests, then set a macro to equip plate and unequip (or equip w/e chest you normally wear if a dexxer) and when lets say a tank mage comes in for the hally hit, toss that sucker on for a bit and watch your AR rise.. then switch back to w/e chest you normally wear or use the unequip macro if you don't wear one.

If you can't get it to work send me a PM and i'll explain how to get the macro set up/hot keyed.

Thanks for taking it in stride Clown, I just think everybody needs to get some interest in different templates generated. I like to see diversity on the field and it's fun to watch a tank get wrecked by a hybrid, especially with T2A rulesets in place. I don't know the dude's setup but his name began with an F, franky or something like that. Anyway, long story short he just wrecked a tank north of Yew liches it was really a nice change of pace.
