Bagball Practice

Post by Arcott Ramathorn »

Is there anyway to practice bagball? Maybe a system that lets people use the bagball field when there is no game in progress? A pickup game maybe? Ive always heard about bagball in UO but i have never played or even watched a game till now. Barring any semi official practice, does anyone have any tips? Does anyone script anything? maybe put the bag on scavenger? Please post anything helpfull. Is it all Offense or is Defense important?

Do the people who win always play together? Are they in Ventrillo? The few games ive seen and the one i participated in were very one sided. Seems like there is always one team Lulz'ng and one team WTF'ng. Id like to see some parity!

whoever has the fastest mouse wins, dont script anything
whoever has the most experience tends to be better team mates
follow their lead
dont chase the ball around like a 4 yr old at soccer
set it up, have guys at front some at back, use your team to pass the ball

If you want to practice, get a bag, lock it down in a house or put it in the bank. Next load it up with heavy heavy stuff (ore, hides, logs, whatever). Get that sucker to 5000 stones.

That's how bagball originated if I remember correctly

its all about knowing who is holding the ball, blocking, predicting where the ball will be dropped, and sometimes using ctrl+shift
