No BS assessment of an Archery Tank.
Basically I have all kinds of Vanq Bows and Vanq HXbows staring me in the face. I am thinking of making an Archery Tank just not sure how viable they are. Oh, I really dont care about dueling, it will be a field only template. Just wanted to get an idea from the guys who have been playing here how it works on this server cause I havent really used on or fought one yet to really gauge it myself.

It's fun for playing CTF.
It's also useful for boat PvP.
That's it. Add purple pots and it might be more fun. If anything, just make it and use your bows then change archery to swords. Archery takes 5k arrows to GM and can basically be macro'd overnight.

It's also not bad as your main fighting skill if you are rolling with a group... however if you're a straight archer tank you'll probably get eaten up by anyone 1v1.... however... if lets say I have an archer tank and I'm with a group of 4 or 5 just ganking people, then yeah you can do some HEAVY damage with a nice vanq bow. So it really depends on how you want to do this... 1v1 or group.
