Fencing, swords, macing

Hi guys, first post here, loving the server good to be back playin uo after soo long.

Quick Q, do fencing weaps still do paralysing blows? Also i see lots and lots of people with swords and some macing but no other bugger seems to do fencing.....have i just GMed the wrong bloody weap type? lol

No parablow, concussion blows, or smashing blows. Also, lumberjacking doesn't affect axe damage.

There are quite a few orcs who use fencing, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

I like fencing for a pure dexxer. You have a lot of chances to interupt and it goes nicely with archery for the finishing heavy-xbow + explode pot. If I made a tank mage I would take swords or macing though. Fencing doesnt hit as hard but the weapons are genreally faster; which i like for poison application.

Also, while there were no special moves in this era you can poisoned 2 handed blade weapons. such as the long spear and halberd.

As stated before, special moves do not exist here. They were a UOR addition to the game, and were calculated using 2 seperate methods during UOR.
