So, I've been running towards Lord British for a good twenty minutes waiting to get this quest from him, and he just sat there blankly staring off into the distance. I'm wondering why he's flagrantly ignoring me and the other poor and desperate souls hungry for adventure, and then, by using my skills of intuition I realise why he sits there like a mute asshole...

That's why i wasn't allowed to pick british's throne as a trophy reward....IT's the only thing he's got going for him.

Lord British went schizophrenic bipolar when the Trammel/Felucia split was introduced and has been in a catatonic stupor ever since. If you listen very very closely, however, you can almost discern him mumbling to himself in the faintest of whispers.

It's like that Pink Floyd tune, "Comfortably Numb"...
