Checks and Windows

I was just reading the newsletter and the history of this wonderful shard when I read something shocking. I am about 4 days old to this shard so I have not done any trading with other players or had the need to transport a lot of money. Is it true that there are no long checks for money and no trade windows? The description in the newsletter was a little vague on these issues only stating that it would be a huge change to the games interface. Can someone elaborate? Thanks.

There are no checks, there are trade windows. I think some people use house deeds as checks on occasion, because they can't be stolen or looted (unless you're red, I think).

So, you can just go to the house vendor and ask to buy and if you have the money in your bank it just takes it out correct? Then the deed you get is newbied so your all set. Is this correct?

I'm not sure if the term is newbied or blessed. If you are blue, and you keep it in the top level of your pack, then you can't lose the deed. So yes, you're correct.
