Not really a bug, just a bad loophole.
On my red who was in stat loss at the time, I signed up for a 1v1 tournament. While waiting for the tournament, the character was killed. When the tournament started, the character was ressed without incurring stat-loss.

Aye, I do appreciate the report though. This has been known for a while, and while pretty hard to abuse, it'd also be hard to fix. We'd have to rearange matches if a waiting player died :/
Since you cannot join the tournament if you are dead, this shouldn't be too much of an issue I hope.
