The newbifed dagger u start with is a practice weapon or not?
Im having the fool idea to go around with 15 of them dp'ed,i dont want to waste all that deadly poison if i die ,plus u can go throug others cure supplies without poisoning...

That would work, as long as you don't turn red (newbie items go on your corpse if you're red).
If you choose Swords as a starting skill though, you'll get a longsword. You can poison that as well, and do a bit more damage than with a dagger.
With fast, stable connections to the server, and virtually no server lag, Deadly Poison isn't what it once was. So to be honest, the poison isn't going to kill too many people. Sticking to them like glue and getting hits in while they bump into trees, make turns, etc, is what's going to kill them.
And again... if you're red, you lose this stuff when you die. At 40 hours per long term count, you're realistically only able to kill about 1 person every 2 days to ensure you stay blue.
ofcourse the idea is to bring a spear or a kriss to do the damage, and those daggers to keep the enemy poisoned.
@Mikel123 what do you mean with " Deadly Poison isn't what it once was "?i remember when i played uo in 1999-2000(but i was young ,cant remember if it was t2a or UOR) that poison often gived an edge in combat to those who used it.Isnt this shard supposed to be era accurate?as i said before i could be wrong, but doesent dp do somthing like 15-20% hp every 5 second or so in t2a?are things different here?
I remember a dp kriss was the typical weapon for a fighter, and poison alone can kill people in under 1 minute if not cured, plus dp needed several attempt of the magery spell or chugs.
