Basic question about recall/mark scrolls

Do scrolls require the same magery to use as the spells take to cast? From what I've read on guide.uo.com, if it isn't any different on this shard I guess mark, being sixth circle, takes 52 magery to have a 1% chance of success? And recall, being 4th takes 24 magery? I'm wondering how much magery I'm going to need in order to use a runebook with scrolls, and to add new marked locations to it. Thanks.

I believe those numbers are pretty accurate. Mid 60's gives reasonable results with mark scrolls, but they are possible in low 50's

If I recall, casting from a scroll casts as though it was two circles lower. Thus, a 6th level spell mark has the success rate of a 4th level spell normally.

Ronk's right...and actually, I remember recalling via scrolls with characters that had 0 magery. You'll fizzle a lot, but it works.
