Mage Towers and Dragons in Despise

I believe it is in the 10/29/97 patch notes that stated necromatic towers would randomly spawn as well as having Dragons in Despise. Was this changed later?

I vaguely remember random dragons in despise. Although I thought they were just stragglers from tamers who got left behind, and went untame.

Iron maidens won't kill you outright, and they will have some warning to them

I don't remember the towers in the early months, but I definitely remember the dragons, before Despise became a noob dungeon....there would be 30 of us noobs trying to kill one dragon, and the dragon was kicking our asses, dead bodies everywhere....lower level, in the direction of mage island but before you got to the bottom area....but we're talking really early on here, probably still late 97-early 98.

you can find an iron maiden to play with at the museum
it sucks you in and snaps shut on you, pretty funny
