Wisps

<chainsoar> pancakes you're the craziest person here
[14:48] <@Mammoth> You can trade in game warez for pumpkin pies
Re: Wisps
The rumor as I understood it was that Wisps were neutral and tended to help the underdog in battles.
I never saw them do anything on OSI personally, but I'm very interested in any other lore.

Re: Wisps
My guess is that a GM or seer every once in a while would inhabit one and help out a new player. Stratics used to claim that they would "lead players to treasure", whatever that meant. Never saw it actually happen.
Re: Wisps
i remember one of the books that spawned in book shelves called the language of wisps and you could get them to make noises and such. Dont remember them attacking bad karma in T2A era but they did in one of the later eras.

I remember wisps attacking me... and if i recall right it was AOS that brought this about. It made it rough being a red.. and I think that was their goal.

Re: Wisps
Check out how "wisps" worked on the Siege Perilous shard. It was a little different there than regular OSI.
