Lockpicking 95 to GM - how?

Post by Chumber »

I tried a few dungeon chests (used $$$ runes) but they are either low level (wooden crates) or just already unlocked, supposse GM Lockpicking is REALLY hard on this shard? Didn't find some chests in Shame i used to GM it back in the days :/

And yeah i know i could pickup Detect Hidden but mew, not the same :D

The dungeon chest has to be at least level 4 for you to gain, there are around 13 in Brittania, and 2 or 3 in T2A. Your best bet is to mark runes to all of the level 4 chests, then do circuits going from chest to chest. It took me around 2 weeks to GM lockpicking, trying 2-3 hours a day.

go to the bottom level of dungeons.

I did it once and gave up on GMing my lockpicker (for now)

Covetous Drag room
Deceit with the poison ele (i think)
Despise around the mages on the bottom level

i had more runes, but thats what i remember off the top of my head

Okay question, if you add detect hidden so I'm able to open level 5 chests without GM Lockpicking, will you still gain from dungeons chests? Or is it considered as higher lockpicking and dungeons chests become too easy?

You should still gain from the lvl 4 & 5 chests.
