question on archery gains

I have been using the Blade Spirits trick to gain in archery, but have hit a wall at about 81. It's been running for several hours with no gain at this point. Is this normal? Do I have to switch to something else to keep gaining.

Also, Tactics hasn't gained at all since Archery stopped. I am at 700 skill points but have several of my skills marked down.

I'm not sure what Blade Spirits' "weapon skill" counts as. I know with a paladin it was slow gains 'til around 70, then it skyrocketed.

As for your skills, make sure the ones that are down are Show Real and have points left. I've done that by mistake, thinking I had 9.3 points in Wrestling and it being my bonus alone.

Good call on the "show real" tip... that's exactly what it was. Thought I had a lot left, but it was all bonuses. Kinda feel silly now.
