Black & Red Sandals

During a bout of boredom, I came up with the idea to go npc killing.. (since I noticed the npcs here are blue vs other shards where they are invul)

I've heard and seen that there are black sandals here.. But I was wondering what the hue is on the 'rare red sandals' that people have mentioned in other posts. Anyone know?

I think those are "neons", while the healer ones are just colored. I used to sell the colorful ones from the healers on my vendor for like 500gp apiece or something like that.

ive seen some really good looking red ones from vendors... i think there pretty rare but i dont think there is much of a market for them

You can get them from evil mages, as well as artists.

At Fire dungeon in T2A there are heaps of them. You can get 20+ pairs of blue sandals in half an hour with ease. They are very easy to kill with a dexer and I believe you can get Lord row of fame from the mage lords (I know for sure they gave Lord row during UO:R).

I believe there's also a tower in Shame with them, level 3 (I haven't actually looked on this server). There aren't nearly as many mages there, though.

Black sandals don't spawn on the mages - they are usually on NPCs in town - jewellers I think. I never actually killed any, I believe you can entice NPCs out of town, or you could just use explosion pots/recall or gate travel. Note that explosion (spell)/recall won't work because spells dont do damage in town.
