As far as the deep water fishing rule, it's required that you be attended and it's prominently stated in many places, this has nothing to do with the fish.

And the reaction would have been the same whether he'd donated $3000 or not, which of course he did not.

How long are your credit cards in the states? Mine is 16 digits, same as the OP's. Not that I believe his story at all.
