mIRC Issues

Post by tkelz448 »

Alright....so I started up mIRC the other day and input all the server / port information into it, went to connect. Then it just started spamming the trying to connect, disconnect thing over and over. Something to do with CBL blocking me or something or other?? I actually can't recall specifics (I'm at work right now). So if anyone knows anything about this, please PM me or respond here, I would love to know so I can be one of the cool kids and start up on IRC :D

I can't remember specifics from here, I'm at work at the moment. 12 hours shifts get really boring so figured I'd see if anyone else heard of this issue.

If it is continually trying to connect, it would appear that mIRC either cannot establish a connection to the remote server or that it cannot make a connection out of your machine. Check your firewall settings first and ensure that mIRC is set as an exception.
