Do enemies miss more if...
You have GM wrestling but are holding a weapon?
Re: Do enemies miss more if...
No.
If your opponent has 100 Swords and you have 100 wrestling and you both are using your weapon skills (He is using a swordsmanship weapon and you aren't using any weapon at all) you will have just as much of a chance to hit him as he will to you.
But if you have GM wrestling and you are using a swordsmanship weapon with 0 swordsmanship skill, he will hit you waaay more often than you him.

If you have GM wrestling and are casting a spell you have a much better chance of casting the spell instead of being "interrupted."

Alright. Thanks a lot guys.

In more detail:
Game will check whatever weapon skill the weapon you're holding belongs to (swords for knife, fencing for dagger, etc).
Using fists checks wrestling. Holding any other weapon will check that weapon skill.
An opponent of 100.0 combat skill (with appropriate weapon) hitting you while you are holding a katana with 0.0 swords will result in him hitting you 100%. Using your fists at GM wrestling will result in the same GM warrior hitting you only 50% or 1/2 of the time.

I didn't know that. So lets say my GM fencer/Parry is holding a kryss & shield. His opponent has GM swords with a hally. He will only hit me 25% of the time?uofuntime wrote:An opponent of 100.0 combat skill (with appropriate weapon) hitting you while you are holding a katana with 0.0 swords will result in him hitting you 100%. Yes, I believe that's how it works. Since parry skill is checked every time attacker rolls a hit (which would be 50% if both of you are equal combat skill), and with GM parry you get another 50% chance to block that hit.Karik Verlee wrote:I didn't know that.
