Started fishing at 2pm est and finished at 7pm est same boat for both fishermen.
Fisherman 1 used Matron's macro suggestion, continuous fishing with 1 delay on wait for target
Fisherman 2 was 9.5 second delay
Fisherman 1 - 1498 fish , assorted boots, messes of fish, 4 tmaps, 2 MiBs
Fisherman 2 - 1438 fish, assorted boots, messes of fish, 3tmaps, 2 MiBs
Just some useful stats
p.s. I seem to have noticed even before this patch that with two fisherman on one boat I pulled up almost the same amount of items as when I had one. Derek told me that other fishermen in the area do not affect the drop rate but perhaps someone with two boats could test independently.

was kept busy with the Serpent spawn .. i believe i had 7 Serpents hunting me down
was nice not falling asleep at the wheel for a change!

So we are applauding a ninja nerf edit as well as the totally unrealistic serpent spawn rate now? Its one extreme to the other.....I saw more serpents the other day than I have in months, and fewer mibs/maps than ever before.DarkWing wrote:WOOT ... i stayed Awake!!!!!

UOSA Should not rely on spawn to handle AFK macroers.........I don't see them turning up the other spawns to handle miners and lumberjacks.
Obviously they find it easier to tweak serps and eles overs mib/tmaps.

That's correct. And fishing at around 9 secs per cast will net on average 1 MiB and one treasure map per hour.Rendar wrote:Derrick,

Averages are funny though and while i don't doubt the reports above in this thread that some people yield less that that in certain intervals, the average is and will continue to be one of each per hour.

Starting at 7:30pm EST and running until 3:30pm EST. (8 hours)
I should have expected roughly: 16 MIB's and 16 Treasure Maps
What I actually got: 9 MIB's & 10 Treasure Maps.

It really seems pointless to post our findings on the pull rate when the data shown clearly reflects a much lower rate than it is suppose to be, yet nothing is done, and according to other posts nothing will be done. I loved fishing, but now there really is no point, sure we have more serps and water els but honestly I didn't spend hours upon hours fishing to GM so that I could fight monsters. I guess since it doesnt involve pvp it doesn't matter, fisherman got nerfed and no documentation supports why? I didn't realize that fishing was so overpowered?

PvP'ers can farm massive amounts of trophies and silver points from 501378271943 events that run daily and sell them for hundreds of thousands of gold.....yet Derrick felt the need to completely CASTRATE fishing as a means of income for NO REASON. Not one person here has verified the "fishing is broken 5 mib's per hour" claim.
Promises to tweak pulls have yielded nothing except more serpents and eles, which the spawn rates for now are completely "not era accurate".
